Collegelands: Glasgow

We have the pleasure in announcing that the Devar Access Floor system has been specified for the highly prestigious Collegelands project in Glasgow city centre. This landmark development is currently one of Scotland's largest regeneration projects.

We have been awarded the supply and installation contract by City Building (Glasgow) LLP who are working in conjunction with the Dawn Group, the developers of the site.

The completed project will incorporate 55,000m2 of high quality campus style office accommodation with the installation works to Phase 1 due to commence early April 2011.

The Architects for the project are Page \ Park of Glasgow.

The project is also being managed by Gardiner & Theobald of Glasgow.

The specification calls for our DMG670 medium grade system utilising the Genesis 1 pedestal at a 220FFH.

Phase 1 was fully funded by Standard Life Investments and comprises of the following 4 buildings:

  1. 10,200m2 Office Block
  2. Multi storey car park
  3. 200 bedroom hotel
  4. 250 student apartments

The installation will be carried out by a Devar approved installation contractor.
